Four devices – just one 12V car socket
The new ANSMANN in-car USB charger offers a charging facility for up to four devices (4 USB ports) simultaneously - with just one 12V cigarette lighter socket being used. Ideal for use in cars or commercial vehicles, up to two of the four USB ports can be simply and easily routed through to the rear seats, for example, by cable connection. This provides a complete power supply with USB charge sockets (4x 2400mA) for everyone in the vehicle. Thanks to the practical clip-mounting, the charger can be securely fastened in the rear seat area (e.g. in the pocket behind the driver's backrest), without the interior looking untidy or 'cable spaghetti' being created. With 1.80m cable length, the extension is designed to suit most popular cars, without excessive cable and yet long enough to suit larger vehicles too.

Ansmann Smart IC - the intelligent charge controller
Most USB chargers are designed for particular devices and do not necessarily supply the highest charge current with which the individual devices can actually be charged - but instead provide a lower charge current. Thanks to the integrated Smart IC, the new Ansmann USB charger detects the device connected and delivers the highest possible charge current.
Ultra-fast charging
The intelligent charge controller automatically detects the device connected and delivers the optimum charge current - max. 2400mA / USB output. This shortens the charge time when compared to most conventional USB chargers. The constant monitoring of the output voltage and current provides protection from overloading and short circuits.
