Ansmann has introduced its new Hybrid Version of the High Capacity AA 2850 mah rechargeable battery. Previously the cell was excellent for high drain devices with the drawback of a high self-discharge rate of 2% per day.
The new hybrid cell maintains the same long endurance of the 2850 mah with the added benefit of low discharge -- only 5% per month. Truly a game-changer.
This new cell also has increased life-cycles, or "re-charges" topping out at 1000 cycles. It is rapidly becoming the cell of choice for high-demand devices such as wireless mics, IEM's flash units, zoom recorders and more.
